In January 2015, the company was founded on the basis of this activity. It was initially registered under the name b2o GmbH & Co. KG, marking the transition from individual training activities to a structured, scalable organizational form.

Integration into the Elite Consulting Network Group
With the continuous growth of training activities and the targeted expansion of the service portfolio, the company became part of the Elite Consulting Network Group in 2017. In the course of this, the name Elite Consulting People Development was established – as a clear commitment to holistic personnel and organizational development within the automotive industry.

Strategic development
In the following years, Elite Consulting People Development continued to develop consistently: from classic training to comprehensive concepts for personnel and organizational development, as well as expanded support and service offerings for manufacturers and trade organizations. At the same time, the portfolio grew continuously and was systematically digitized.

Flexibility and digitization
Especially in challenging times, particularly during the coronavirus pandemic, a high degree of flexibility, adaptability, and implementation strength proved to be key success factors. Digital learning formats, hybrid training concepts, and new development approaches were successfully established.

Establishment of our own academy
Parallel to the further development of our content, we established our own academy. Today, it stands for modern training standards, innovative digital learning formats, and a special development atmosphere that supports and promotes learning in the long term.

Establishment of the Customer Experience division
The Customer Experience division was created in response to the growing importance of holistic customer experiences in the automotive trade. The focus is on the interfaces between people, processes, and customers—from initial contact to long-term loyalty. ECPD combines training, analysis, and development approaches to sustainably improve service quality, communication, and customer satisfaction and make them tangible.

Establishment of the Direct Sales division
With the Direct Sales division, the service portfolio was specifically expanded to include a strongly implementation-oriented sales unit. The focus is on clear sales structures, measurable performance, and direct impact in day-to-day business. Direct Sales combines training, coaching, and operational support to sharpen sales processes, increase deal quality, and strengthen sales teams in the long term.

Independence and clear brand positioning
The next logical step will take place in January 2026: independence as ECPD Group or ECPD GmbH & Co. KG. Under this future-oriented brand, we are combining our experience, our established service portfolio, and our values—with a clear focus on sustainable personnel and organizational development in the automotive industry.
